Together Chef Serigne and Chef Viou will present a collaborative multi-course tasting menu that reflects their shared heritage and brings her groundbreaking creativity, cultural depth, and signature flavors to New Orleans for the first time.

Meet Chef Georgiana Viou
Born in Benin and celebrated for her vibrant blend of Mediterranean cuisine and West African flavors, Chef Georgiana Viou is a French-Beninese chef whose bold voice and culinary artistry have earned her international acclaim. She moved to Paris at 22 to study languages at the Sorbonne but soon pursued her culinary passion in Marseille, opening acclaimed spots like L’Atelier de Georgiana and La Piscine,and earning Gault & Millau honors. In 2021, she launched Rouge in Nîmes, where her inventive fusion cuisine won Gault & Millau’s Grand de Demain award and, in 2023, made her the first Black woman in France to receive a Michelin star. She is also a cookbook author and MasterChef France judge.
