A One-Night Culinary Collaboration

Join us for an unforgettable evening of culinary exploration as Dakar NOLA welcomes Chef Kevin Tien and Pastry Chef Susan Bae of Moon Rabbit (Washington, D.C.) for a one-night collaboration dinner. 

Together with Chef Serigne Mbaye and Pastry Chef Sharde Cole, this exclusive dining experience will bring together the bold, soulful flavors of Senegal, West Africa, Vietnam, and New Orleans in a multi-course tasting menu.*

Throughout the evening, you’ll experience the stories, heritage, and inspiration that shape our cuisines. Get ready for unexpected pairings, vibrant flavors, and dishes that reflect the artistry and heart of both Dakar NOLA and Moon Rabbit.

Seatings: 4:30pm and 8:00pm | $300 per person plus tax and 20% gratuity

Reservations are required, and each booking is limited to six guests. This is a one-night-only experience you won’t want to miss. In partnership with OpenTable and Valrhona.

Moon Rabbit is a modern Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of Chinatown, Washington D.C., drawing inspiration from the virtuous rabbit depicted in the Buddhist Jataka tale. Led by acclaimed Chef Kevin Tien, the restaurant embodies an innovative approach to Vietnamese cuisine, showcasing a menu that is both unique and complex. Chef Tien's main objective is to pay tribute to his heritage as a first-generation Asian American, using Moon Rabbit as a platform for expressing his love for Vietnamese culture and food.
